Good evening from Esbjerg, Denmark 🇩🇰

The Men by the Sea (Mennesket ved Havet) is one of Denmark’s most iconic landmarks. The monument consists of four giant white seated figures, each standing 9 meters tall, facing the North Sea.

Created by Danish sculptor Svend Wiig Hansen, the sculpture was unveiled in 1995 to commemorate Esbjerg’s 100th anniversary as an independent municipality.
